Home is where the heart is, and a beautiful home makes staying in all the more worthwhile.

Over the past year, the UK has spent more time inside than ever before and Google searches for interior design, DIY hacks and home decor have skyrocketed.

To find out which brands are the most loved, HomeHow have created a list of the most-Instagrammed homeware brands, according to the number of hashtagged posts.

With over 12 million posts using the hashtag #IKEA, the Swedish furniture giant takes the top spot as the most-instagrammed home brand. In second place comes fashion retailer turned interior design store, Zara Home with over 700,000 tagged posts, closely followed by high-street rival H&M Home, with just over 600,000 hashtagged posts on Instagram.

When it comes to follower numbers alone, Zara Home is the most-loved home brand on Instagram boasting 6.8 million followers, beating IKEA with over six times the amount they have. H&M Home comes in second, with a loyal following of 5.1 million, followed by American boho-chic home and clothing brand Anthropologie, with 4.3 million.

Surprisingly, IKEA’s following is beaten by the likes of B&M, Dunelm and The Range. Yet a staggering amount of photos are uploaded to ‘the gram’. IKEA has become a popular day trip out for young couples and families, well-priced and home of the ‘IKEA hack’, its well established and classic design, remains a firm favourite with the homeware loving public.
